Typical Bottom or Whorls

The weight of the spindles is your choice. The lightest spindle
that we can provide is 8 grams (perfect for lace weight yarns).
The heaviest is up to you. By carving floral patterns in the
midsection of the whorl, the bulk of the weight remains on the
outside 1/3 of the whorl, providing long spins perfect for any
fiber. The shafts are all hand-turned by Gilbert, with lovely
designs, and are available in cherry, maple or black walnut at
no additional cost.
Lily spindles are available in 2", 2.5", 3" and 3.5" diameters.
The shafts are 7" to 10" long.
Please be aware that no two Lily Spindles are exactly alike. Close
perhaps, but never exactly the same. Your spindle will be unique
and personal.
